Easy Peasy Card

This card is very easy and quick to make.  Whisper White card stock embossed on each side with a 'dotted swiss' effect. I then punched 3 butterflies using the Butterfly punch and attached them down the center.

You can use any color or pattern of DSP -- I made 3 - Pink, Navy and Green. Sorry for the poor photo -- still trying to get the hang of it....

What a weekend...

I'm not a big go-out-everynight on the weekend girl, but this weekend was busy! We started Friday night celebrating Shawn's birthday at Cadillac Jacks.  Saturday we had dinner and then saw The Phantom of the Opera at the Schuster Center and today, we drove down to Cincinnati to see the Butterflies of Japan at Krohn's Conservatory --- here are a few of my favorite pictures....

Retro Card

I saw this card by Andrea Walford's blog -- very talented and here's my version of her card.

Used Kraft as a base and Sweet Pea DSP.  I dabbed the chipboard letters with Chocolate Chip Ink and added to Rhinestone Brads in the upper left corner...

Ok -- here are 2 digital cards

My scrapbook area is a mess -- I don't know where to start....not really conducive to creativity....so I turned to MDS to get a jump start....

Card 1 I used Melon Mambo, Night of Navy and Whisper White.  I used the Simple Friendship stamp set and some stitching and punches to add a little depth and texture.

Card 2

Old Olive, More Mustard and Night of Navy along with the Vintage Vogue Stamp set.

New Colors Pt 2 - Marina Mist and Daffodil....

Used Embrace Life -- I love the flower and the new stamps weren't available to me. These colors are stunning -- I love everything about them - the 1/8" ribbon is fabulous...

NEW Colors -- LOVE them....

So, my first look at the new colors, my sister's order came Friday -- how awesome is that? Hadn't had time to play with much but I did make a couple cards using Embrace Life along with some of the new colors.

The first one is Very Vanilla, Wild Wasabi (so glad it's back) and yummy Cherry Cobler -- I think it's going to be a new favorite for me..

I did use the Old Wild Wasabi Ribbon and Hodgepodge Hardware to accent the card.... Enjoy...

Courtney's Graduation Scrapbook -- The Beginning

Working on a scrapbook for my sister's boyfriend's neice....whew -- Courtney. The first 4 pages I've created using MDS -- I just love it. I downloaded the latest digital sets, including the Graduation set -- very cute.

I'm using Brilliant Blue, Real Red and White -- school colors.....

Sneak Peak...

I'm so excited -- my sister placed the order today and paid the extra $20 for 2 day shipping! She should have the new catalog and lots and lots of fun things to play with by Friday!
